Her experience encompasses working with both children and adults struggling with grief, loss and trauma, separation anxiety, behavioural difficulties and emotional regulation, self-esteem issues, OCD, stress, anxiety and depression.

O1

Individual Therapy

You might be feeling stuck, finding yourself repeating the same patterns, struggling with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, repetitive thoughts, have trouble sleeping. Or perhaps you might be facing significant life changes. Whatever you are going through we will work together to better understand your patterns and triggers in order to give you the tools to make lasting change.

(Sigmund is training up to be a therapy dog and will be coming in to sessions as soon as he is ready!)

O2

Couples Counselling

Perhaps you are feeling unseen, unappreciated, ignored, constantly fighting and unable to communicate effectively. Are you repeating the same cycle over and over again. Do you need to heal from past hurt or trauma. Or would you love to rekindle the spark in your relationship.

With the stresses on modern families, it's more important than ever to strengthen your connections. We will work collaboratively to identify strategies to improve your communication, rebuild intimacy, enhance empathy and trust to help you find each other again.

O3

Parenting Support

As we all know, children don’t come with a manual. Each little person is different, so our approach to each child needs to be tailored to fit their, and your needs. Perhaps you’re finding that your once happy and affectionate child has become a little moody and withdrawn, speaks to you in monosyllabic sentences (if at all!). Or perhaps you have a little one struggling with separation anxiety, unable to control their emotional outbursts, having peer group difficulties at school. Let’s talk about ways to help you navigate this labyrinth we call parenthood!

WOMEN'S SUPPORT GROUP

'Woman to Woman'

Beaches women's therapy are currently running a women's circle for newly (and not so newly!) single women. This is a space for women to share their experience of separation, the ripple effect it has on their life and the adjustments that come with this new chapter.

Many of us feel alone during this time, but this is far from the truth. Come along and share your experience, your fears and maybe even your hopes for the future in a safe, non-judgemental space. Connect with other women sharing the same experience. You are not alone.

  • Facilitated by a registered counsellor
