Amanda Moore

Amanda is the founder and director of Beaches Women's Therapy, known for her extremely warm and approachable demeanor. She holds a special interest in working with couples and women of all ages.
With a professional journey spanning decades in various roles across the corporate and private sectors, coupled with the experience of raising four children, Amanda's counselling practice is a true labor of love. Her vast lived experience allows her to easily relate to her clients on a deep and authentic level.
Amanda is particularly known for her ability to decode and help people recognise their own maladaptive patterns, serving as a strong advocate for self-discovery and empowering individuals to make positive changes. She takes a collaborative approach to treatment and will consider the world view you bring to the therapeutic space in formulating a therapy style to suit you.
Amanda brings extensive clinical experience in treating concerns such as anxiety, stress, depression, adult ADHD, grief and loss, self-esteem issues, relationship and couples dynamics, and working with children. She is particularly known for her ability to decode and help people recognise their own maladaptive patterns, serving as a strong advocate for self-discovery and empowering individuals to make positive changes.

Jessy Bakon
Counsellor and Social Worker
Jessy is a kind, compassionate and non-judgmental therapist who has a strong commitment to supporting her clients. Her work is grounded in empathy, holistic care and a genuine belief in her client’s capacities for growth and change.
She has a background in social work with extensive experience in eating disorders, adolescent mental health and complex mental health. She trained and worked at Royal North Shore Hospital as well as worked across multiple hospitals in Northern Sydney. She also worked at the Eating Disorder Clinic BodyMatters Australasia and was an Intern School Counsellor at the all-girls private school Stella Maris College.
Jessy creates a safe, inclusive and supportive space for her clients. Drawing on a range of evidence- based approaches tailored to support the unique needs of her clients. She is particularly passionate about working with adolescents, families and, eating disorders.
Jessy is a qualified Social Worker, with advanced counselling training, currently completing a Master of Counselling. Finalising her registration this year with PACFA to be a registered Psychotherapist and registered Counsellor with ACA. She is also in the process of completing her Mental Health Social Worker accreditation to attain a Medicare rebate for her clients and in training to become an ANZAED Eating Disorder Credentialed Clinician.
